Life of Chains

What is Child Labour? The word “Child Labour” is often defined as work that dismantle children of their childhood, it can effect their potential, dignity and that is harmful to physical and mental development. It refers to work that is mentally, physically, morally dangerous and harmful to children.

Many children are born into families that have a few resources whose parents earn little money. The type of work that children have been forced to is mostly factory work and construction, the work they do can be long term physical effects on their body like pain and being injured.

The children try there hardest to earn the money that they need to recover for their cloths, Education or more. Children doing dangerous jobs may be scary you might get tiny chemicals or you can get exposed to poisonous that could effect your body long term.

With this going on some kids just give up on their families cause they can't afford any money they try run away to see if they can get a better life by themselves.

The negative effects on child labour is that children can miss out on their Education meaning they wouldn't be able to learn new this like their brain won't develop.

My prediction is that children that work in those dangerous jobs like construction factory i feel like i get that the families can't afford to pay anything like bills but risking your child to do dangerous jobs that's just done on an another level  hey have a better future,  children should go to school because they need to understand how Important children need an education.

Treaty Of Waitangi

The one main difference between the English and the Maori version is that their saying is not the same in article one. In article one the Maori version says the chiefs were giving up their Te - kawanatanga Katoa, ( governorship ) to the crown (queen of England). Then the English version they say that the Maori leaders were giving the queen all the rights and powers of sovereignty over the land that was owned.

Air NZ hijacker who stabbed two pilots wants to go home to Somalia

On January the 4th 2018 Asha Abeille, a Somali is refuge took knives on to an Air New Zealand flight from Blenheim to Christchurch. On their way to Christchurch, Asha Abeille approached the two pilots and stabbed, one of the passengers were injured during the situation. She is being held in a psychiatric unit after hee release in prison.  She said, "She wants to be able to go back to her home county", Somali. My opinion about this story was that I couldn't believe that she stabbed two pilots just because she wanted to go back to her own country.

My Goals for 2019

My goals for year 10 for education is to earn merits for NCEA level 1 in term 4 during jumpstart and my goals for sports is to get a scholarship in rugby. How can I earn my merits? I can earn them by focusing on my subjects and finishing my work to a high standard meaning improving my reading and writing. I want to achieve my goals because I want to make sure that I finish school as a high standard year 13.
